Passion for Music
I was hooked on music at a youg age. Country, Jazz, Motown, Pop, and Rock all sparked emotions. The first full length LP I purchased was Stevie Wonder. The first concert I attended at 13 was Yes! My music collection is quite diverse. I have had the pleasure of recording with musicians and producers who I admired for years.
Making Music
The first instrument I learned to play was a Wurlitzer organ our parents purchased when I was 7. At 14 I bought a used Wurtlitzer Electric Piano (wish I still had that!). By 16 after working a year making pizza I purchased a brand new Fender Rhodes piano. I rely heavily on skilled stuido session players when recording but have a collection of keyboards and guitars for songwriting.
Be Inspired By Everything
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. I love the places that most people don't give a second glance.
